Day 3 - Organizing my Plan of Action

Today (Thursday - April 26, 2012) Professor TAB put together a plan of action as he continues on his pursuit to acquire the MOS Certification for Microsoft Excel 2010.

He identified the following key areas of subject matter to review, study and implement so that the new features (and those that he doesn't use that often) become part of his everyday business life.  Professor TAB will apply such features as Advanced Tables, Lookup Functions, Slicers, SmartArt Graphics and many more toward enhancing and updating the Financial Section of the TAB Training & Consulting, LLC business plan.

The six main areas that he will be focusing on for Friday (April 27, 2012 - Day 3) consist of the following:
  1. Calculating Data with Advanced Formulas
  2. Organizing Worksheet and Table Data
  3. Presenting Data Using Charts
  4. Analyzing Data Using PivoTables, Slicers and PivotCharts
  5. Inserting Graphic Objects
  6. Customizing and Enhancing the Excel Environment

Check our the next post - Day #4 (April 28, 2012) which leaves just two days to see how he is doing with the areas of concentration listed above.

Professor TAB - Returns on Sunday, February 19th!!!

It has been a long time since I last posted a Professor TAB episode, but I am happy to say that he has returned!!!

We left off discussing how he completed the entrepreneurship class that set him on the path that he still follows to this day.  He goal is to one day build something that he can pass on to his daughter when she is ready to take over the business.  Graduation from this class provided him with the first "non-labor" intensive job in his short working career; as he realized he could use his brain instead of his brawn.  Professor TAB would later be called to present at a youth conference and it was then that he knew he had found his calling - combining computers (& technology) with teaching (& presenting).

Stay tuned for the return of Professor TAB, on Sunday - February 19th,  as he shares more about his trials and tribulations toward achieving his dream of owning the leading technology training and consulting grassroots business whose mission is to "bridge the technology literacy gap."
